Deloitte Malta Aviation Conference 2024

09:00 – 17:00 CET | 19 April 2024

Adapting to change and innovating for success

The aviation industry has seemingly beaten the pandemic and is bucking the risks of recession, yet it still faces bumpy times ahead.

The world is in a particular place right now. There is war in Europe and in the Middle East. In other regions uncertainty prevails. Environmental challenges are unprecedented and yet innovation is also at an all-time high.

During this last year, some airlines have replaced others in the market. Yet others continue to prosper. At a local level, Malta remains an attractive option for operators, but one cannot be complacent. We must promptly address challenges and innovate if we really want to succeed.

Understanding the threats that regulators and operators must overcome is the first step in securing the future. Identifying the right solutions will help us to survive and to thrive.

Following successful exchanges in 2022 and 2023, the one-day Deloitte Malta Aviation Conference will return on Friday 19 April 2024.

The conference is by invitation only for selected expert speakers and around 60 industry regulators, operators, MROs and other key aviation providers. As in previous editions, we aim to provide CEOs, CFOs and other guests with a knowledge sharing experience and a forum for open discussion on current industry issues.

The theme of this year’s event is “Adapting to change and innovating for success”. Besides the masterly insights from Deloitte’s Global Aviation Leader and essential local updates, we will consider key strategies for handling transformation, technology and talent. We will also hear from leading experts and regulators on salient operational issues, policies and regulations. An update on the changing landscape of international tax will be provided and certain OEM innovators may showcase opportunities for airlines, airports and MROs to collaborate in shaping a future proof infrastructure and ecosphere.
