Alex Tolsma

Alex works as a Manager within the Privacy & Digital Ethics team at Deloitte Cyber Risk Advisory. He has an extensive legal background and a specialization in ICT and Privacy law.

At Deloitte, Alex has worked on projects for large-sized companies in the Government and Public Sector, (medical) technology and Financial Services Industry sectors. Due to this experience, Alex has specialized in and focuses on privacy and data protection challenges within complex governmental organizations.

Due to his experience with IT audits, Alex is also well versed in the IT-related aspects facing our clients’ organizations, which he can apply to advise on privacy-related cloud questions. Alex has conducted GDPR Transformation Programs, Privacy Gap Assessments, extensive DPIAs on complex processing activities and remediating programs for organizations in various industries but the GPS sector specifically.
