Hans is a Partner in Deloitte’s C&IP practice, and specialized in Indirect Tax. He has over 16 years of experience in VAT, of which he has worked 5 years in-house with a large international retailer, leading their European Indirect Tax team.

His experience includes the entire spectrum of indirect tax management, starting with determining the strategy and goals, outsourcing of compliance, automation of VAT, excise & customs duties processes, guiding finance transformations, digital reporting, eCommerce, vouchers, loyalty programs, supply chains, M&A and integrations. Implement and improve tax control frameworks, controls & monitoring, managing relations with Tax authorities, dispute resolution and litigation.
