Itan Barmes

Itan is a quantum specialist at the cyber team of Deloitte NL and a project fellow at the World Economic Forum. He focuses on the impact of quantum computing on cyber security and how companies should approach this risk.
Itan is also involved in other crypto-related activities and drives the PKI proposition for Deloitte NL, including design and implementation, security and certificate management.
Itan has a PhD in experimental physics from the VU university in Amsterdam. He feels most comfortable dealing with complex and novel challenges. Itan publishes regularly on topics such as quantum cybersecurity and blockchain are regularly shares knowledge in external events.
