Niels Aafjes

Niels Aafjes is a Manager in the Privacy team of Deloitte Cyber Risk Services. Niels is the specialist when it comes to consumer privacy, GDPR services and transformational privacy programs. With over six years of privacy advisory experience, Niels is heavily involved with development of new privacy service offerings such as the Privacy Transformation Program, GDPR maturity assessment and privacy tooling. He has a focus on consumer privacy in an international context and has advised numerous international organizations on the subject.

He has broad knowledge of both legal matters and IT and he has work experience at various large organizations. Prior to Deloitte, Niels worked at the European Parliament in Brussels where he gained valuable insights into the workings of the EU political and legislative process.
