Pelle van Vlijmen

At Deloitte I bring our insurance clients and the professionals of Deloitte Risk Advisory together to seek for the best solutions and solve our clients' challenges with respect to risk related topics.

With about twenty years of experience as a consultant for insurance companies, I have built a strong network in the industry. I have a strong technical background as (certifying) actuary and developed broader risk management skills as one of the founders of Deloitte's Financial Risk Management team. Relevant hands on experience includes Solvency II, IFRS17 and data warehousing. 

Companies I worked for in the past include Willis Towers Watson, Risk Dynamics and as a contractor at Delta Lloyd. I rejoined Deloitte in the summer of 2017 as partner.

I am also an active member for the actuarial society and board member of the Dutch GARP chapter.
