Peter Schaap

I am Managing Director of the Data & Reporting Advisory team, a team focused on data-driven reporting transformation projects and managed services. I have over 20 years of experience in the FSI industry. My experience is mainly focused on Data and IT in the areas of Financial Risk, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Planning, Consolidation, Data Management and Regulatory Reporting.

Before joining Deloitte, I worked for several FS companies as IT and information manager, Chief Architect, Program Manager and Manager Reporting and Accounting. I started my career at a Big-4, where I worked as a financial auditor and data scientist in the Financial Services Group. I am a Dutch CPA (‘RA’) and certified GARP Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
