As Business and Human Rights expert in the sustainability team, Thijs supports companies with embedding international human rights standards within their business operations and to comply with the ever-growing regulatory demands.

He brings 10+ years of experience working with companies and financial institutions on sustainability and human rights. He has experience in policy development, human rights due diligence, supply chain analysis and stakeholder engagement and has been involved in many multi-stakeholder initiatives to enhance business’ respect for human rights, both in the Netherlands, within the OECD and on an international level.
