Thijs van Lieshout

Thijs is part of the leadership team of the Scale-up Ecosystem initiative within Deloitte Netherlands, serving start-ups and scale-ups. He also provides strategy consulting services to Technology, Media and Telecom clients. He has 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, growth strategy, data analytics and growth hacking - both in the scale-up as well as the corporate segment. He is a highly analytical problem-solver with business, financial and technology knowledge. Passionate about technology, telecommunications and data analytics.

He holds an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Telecommunications and he passed level 1 of the CFA program. Before joining Monitor Deloitte, Thijs was part of the Management Team for Chama, a digital platform scale-up. Before that he worked at Liberty Global as Director Strategy & Corporate Development and at Deloitte Consulting as Senior Consultant in the Corporate Strategy service line with a focus on the TMT sector.
