David Dalenberg

David Dalenberg is a Legal Consultant who is part of the IT team within Deloitte’s Legal Practice. David focusses on trends in legal technology and operations. He works on innovative projects regarding technologies. For example, David has given legal advice on the contracting and privacy aspects of IoT asset tracking solutions, on fairness and non-discrimination requirements in AI algorithms and on the contracting aspects of a real estate blockchain solution. David also has experience with multiple data protection compliance and governance projects for international financial institutes. Next to legal advice, David has the role of product owner of a privacy chatbot that is being developed for healthcare institutions. He also assists with the development of the Legal Technologist Program, an education program aimed at tomorrow’s lawyers. David has written an award winning publication on artificial intelligence and non-discrimination law. Prior to joining Deloitte David has worked as a legal counsel at a start-up that developed an artificial intelligence solution.
