Marco van der Meer

Marco van der Meer is a Senior Manager and works in the Tax Management Consulting serviceline, based in Amsterdam. Marco has over 13 years of experience in Tax Risk & Transformation. He has experience across multiple Finance & Tax Transformation initiatives such as Tax Operating Model (including Shared Services) assessment, design & implementation, Tax Process re-engineering, Legal Entity & Reporting Entity simplification and Tax Risk Management standardization. Marco has implemented many global Tax Control Frameworks for multinationals across Europe, and has helped clients with horizontal monitoring agreements with the Dutch Tax Authorities.

Before joining Tax Management Consulting, Marco was part of the Deloitte Tax Compliance Center for 2 years and responsible for the DCIT compliance process of large multinationals.

Since 2014 Marco is a lecturer for the Stichting Opleiding Belastingadviseurs (SOB) on Tax Risk Management for the Tax Assurance course.
