CFO Survey 2022 Spring

The conflict in Europe is deeply impacting businesses, which is evident in the 15th edition of the Deloitte European CFO Survey.

The current climate of economic uncertainty reported by European CFOs has reached an all-time high since the beginning of this survey in 2015, due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the remaining impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic, such as supply chain disruptions and raising inflation.

Just like the European CFOs, Portuguese counterparts are, now, less confident about their companies’ financial prospects and more cautious about taking unnecessary risks to their balance sheets.

Despite the current economical context, CFOs in Portugal are not allowing themselves to be daunted, focusing on digitalization, organic growth, evolution in existing markets and cost reduction strategies to navigate through uncertain times.

We hope the insights of this survey will help you plan new action methods and set up business priorities for the upcoming months.
