Deloitte recognized as a leading tax practice in Sweden and Europe
A team effort
Deloitte has once more been recognized by International Tax Review (ITR) and World Tax as the leading tax practice in Sweden and in Europe.
Impressively, Deloitte won 32 awards at the 2022 ITR EMEA Tax Awards, including European Tax Firm of the Year, European Tax Innovator of the Year, European Tax Technology Provider of the Year and European Diversity Equity and Inclusion Firm of the Year. Displaying the strength of its Nordic transfer pricing practice, in addition to being recognized as Sweden Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year, Deloitte was recognized with the analogous award in every single Nordic jurisdiction. Furthermore, Deloitte Sweden has also been ranked as a Tier 1 tax firm by World Tax for the thirteenth consecutive year.
On a practitioner level, many Deloitte tax professionals have been recognized as market leaders in Sweden by ITR, World Tax and Expert Guides. Lars Franck and Elvira Allvin have been recognized in Expert Guide's Best of the Best, which names the top 30 advisers in their respective legal fields worldwide. Lars has been recognized for Tax and Elvira for Transfer Pricing respectively and notably both are the only advisers in tax fields in the Swedish market. ITR has recognized Henrik Karlsson as the 2022 Rising Star of Indirect taxes in Europe. Expert Guides has acknowledged Sara Blomstrand and Elvira Allvin in their 2022 edition Women In Business Law. Lastly, Elvira Allvin, Sara Bolmstrand, Lars Franck, Viyan Hagi, Frida Haglund, Henrik Karlsson, Jonas Ramber and Johan Rasmussen are recognized as leading advisors in Sweden by World Tax, making Deloitte Sweden the firm with the highest number of recognized practitioners in the Swedish market.
“On behalf of our entire tax practice, we would like to extend our gratitude to our clients, who allow us to develop sustainable and holistic solutions to their every challenge. Likewise, we would like to thank our people for their invaluable contributions to our practice’s success. We would not have received the highest number of recognitions on an individual practitioner level and on a wider practice level in Sweden without our clients’ trust and our talents’ team spirit. We vow to continue making a positive impact for our clients and empowering our talents.” Says a proud Frida Haglund, the leader of Deloitte’s tax practice.
The awards are based on submissions and client feedback reflecting e.g. the level of innovation, impact, complexity of matter, and scale of projects.
