About Us

Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

It starts with integrity

Deloitte’s commitment to quality and integrity underlies everything we do –day in and day out –as we seek to make an impact that matters for clients, our people, and our communities.

Code of Conduct and Ethics

Our Deloitte CE Code of Conduct –or Code–guides those efforts by clearly articulating the standards to which we all must hold ourselves, wherever we live and work.

We would like to ask all Deloitte people to read and understand the Code, and recognize the significance of the commitments we make.
It is essential that each ofus does our part to continue building a culture that aligns with our Code –a culture in which we are comfortable speaking up when something doesn’t feel right, in which we respond swiftly and effectively when others raise concerns, and in which we always deliver our very best effort without fail.

Our path to undisputed leadership starts with integrity, which must remain our constant guide along our journey.

Our Shared Values

  • Integrity
  • Outstanding value to markets and clients
  • Commitment to each other
  • Strength from cultural diversity

Our Code encompasses Deloitte’s Global Principles of Business Conduct, which outlines the commitments that each of us make. It is based on our Shared Values and reflects our core belief that, at Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.

Acting in accordance with the Code is a responsibility for all Deloitte people in Central Europe. Each of us is expected to know, understand and comply with the Code. We also have a responsibility to raise our voice when we become aware of anything that is inconsistent with it. There can be serious consequences for non compliance with the Code or related Deloitte policies, up to and including dismissal.

About the Code

Deloitte Central Europe's Code of Conduct provides the ethical framework on which we as employees of the firm base our decisions. It is based upon the Global Principles of Business Conduct and Shared Values of the DTTL network of Member Firms.

It is designed to demonstrate our Shared Values and ethics in action, and is not intended to be all-inclusive. It contains general guidance about the firm’s expectations, situations that may require particular attention and available channels of communication.

Sometimes we have to face difficult situations at work that may challenge our values and deciding what to do can be tricky. Whether it is dealing with a client, a colleague or your team leader – if something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. It is a right and also a personal responsibility of each of us to raise our voice and seek advice concerning an issue touching on any ethical related dilemma, from conduct to corruption.

In these instances, Deloitte Speak Up offers a confidential alternative. It offers a website, deloittespeakup.ethicspoint.com where you can confidentially consult on issues or report observed misconduct related to Deloitte with a non-Deloitte consultant. When action is required, the case is escalated to our CE ethics team, who oversee internal investigations and take all reasonable steps to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
