Vladimír is the Chairman of Deloitte Slovakia. He focuses on the market place, working together with other partners to understand the needs of Deloitte’s clients and to prepare innovative solutions to the issues they face. Vladimír is responsible for developing relationships with decision-makers in all sectors of the Slovak economy where an international professional services firm could be of service. Vladimír has worked in the banking and public sectors for almost 20 years. He served in several high level positions. From July 1993 until July 1999 he acted as the Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia.
Ivana is the Managing Partner for Slovakia and a partner in Transaction Advisory Services. Ivana leads the Transaction Advisory Services in Deloitte Slovakia. She has over 15 years of international experience working with Deloitte. Ivana has managed transactions and M&A transaction advisory projects for strategic and financial investors in various sectors and industries including energy, IT, telecommunication, transportation and logistics, real estate, manufacturing companies and financial institutions. She is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) in the UK.
Peter has worked for Deloitte since 2000 and is currently partner-in-charge of the Audit and Assurance function at Deloitte in Slovakia. As partner-in-charge, he is responsible for the operational management, supervision and quality control of audits performed by the Audit and Assurance function. Peter specialises in providing assurance and advisory services to financial institutions. In 2014, he returned to Deloitte Slovakia after an 8-year secondment with Deloitte Sydney, where he was the statutory auditor for a number of international banking groups. In addition to statutory audits, Peter has long-term experience of regulatory compliance reviews at banking and non-banking entities operating on financial markets, financial due diligence assignments and accounting advisory and has specific expertise in financial instruments and infrastructure projects. Peter is a Slovak statutory auditor and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in the United Kingdom.
Lubica is a partner in the tax function with more than 17 years of experience in tax advisory. She specialises in the domestic and international personal income tax and social security issues. Her clients include several multinational companies who are global employers with substantial expat population world-wide. She also leads a cross-functional team of experts specializing in advisory for the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry clients. As a licensed tax advisor, Lubica is a chairman of the Methodological Legislative Committee for Personal Income Tax of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors. She is also a member of the Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia.
Michal is a partner in the Consulting department. He has served in various senior management and executive positions over the last fifteen years. He has built long lasting and durable professional relationships and developed, motivated, and led multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams. He brings a proven track record in projects performed for growing and transformed businesses. He has extensive experience serving banks and insurance companies and the energy and public sectors.
Marián is a partner leading our Risk Advisory Services. He has over 20 years of experience in audit and advisory, including internal audit, IT security audit and advisory, Corporate governance and risk management.
Zuzana is an audit and management expert with more than 22 years of experience working for international audit firms. As a partner of the audit function at Deloitte, she is responsible for strategic planning, operational management, supervision and quality control of audits performed by the audit and advisory function, primarily for clients operating in the financial services industry, including real estate and public interest clients.
Wolda is the lead client service partner for a regional private equity client, leading teams across Central Europe in providing a broad range of services in Audit, Taxation and Financial Advisory. Wolda also serves as the Audit Engagement Partner for major clients in Slovakia, including the Slovak Gas Company Group and the ESET Group. With over 24 years of experience in audit and accounting advisory, he also specialises in the energy sector and is a member of Deloitte’s Global Energy and Resources Group.
Miloš is responsible for leadership and development of the Deloitte office in Košice, which serves clients in the Eastern Slovakia regions and provides professional services in audit and taxes. Miloš has been working in this field since 1997 and for Deloitte since 1999. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK (FCCA) and a licensed auditor of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors (SKAu). He has extensive knowledge and experience of Slovak and International Accounting Standards. From 2004 to 2006, he participated in a 20-month assignment in the U. S., where he successfully passed the Certified Public Accountant exams. Miloš has extensive experience in audits of statutory and IFRS financial statements for companies operating in the manufacturing, healthcare, transport and construction sectors. Since 1998, he has lectured IFRS training courses in Slovakia.
Patrik is a Certified Auditor (CA) in Slovakia and a long-time Fellow Member of
the Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK (FCCA). He participated in
various projects for clients, including statutory and IFRS audits, US GAAP,
consulting in Slovak accounting and IFRS, in-depth audits, consolidation of
IFRS, transformation of Slovak financial statements to IFRS and vice versa, Slovak financial statements and statements under IFRS compilation projects, and tax consulting projects. He has experience in international and statutory audits and other projects specializing in various sectors, such as: automotive, manufacturing, construction, steel, media and telecommunications.
Larry is a partner in the Tax & Legal function of Deloitte. Larry worked for Deloitte in the Czech Republic prior to moving to Slovakia in July 2008. Larry provides a range of tax advisory services, including the taxation of cross border transactions, due diligence, restructuring and tax planning. His clients include major Slovak and international companies working across a range of industries. Larry holds degrees in Business economics and Law from the University of the Free State in South Africa.
He started the career in Deloitte in 1999 after the graduation at the University of Economics in Bratislava. In 2003 he was on the assignment to Deloitte Pittsburgh. In 2006-2007 he was a director of the FDI division of the government agency SARIO for the support of the investment where he was directly involved in the largest investment projects in manufacturing and automotive sector in Slovakia. Martin supported a number of clients during the initial stages of their investments or expansions by providing Tax & Legal services. His has been focused on securing the government and EU funds for investments, R&D and environmental projects. He was also involved in preparation of measures and funding projects directly consulted with the EU commission. Martin is active in drafting and shaping the legislation related to tax incentives and state aid measures. Recently he was involved in drafting a proposal of legislation on Industry 4.0 Incentives.
