Privacy Notice

This privacy notice is provided by the Controller – one of the Deloitte Entities¹ listed below, that organizes the event you have subscribed to by filling out the registration form.

The purpose, for which your personal data in the extent of the filled-out registration form will be processed, is the arrangement of your participation at the organized event including the administration of your subscription and the invoicing (if the event is chargeable). The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the alleged purpose is the fulfillment of the contract, subject matter of which is your participation at the event that will be concluded between you, or the company on behalf of which you are performing the registration, and respective Controller as of the submission date of the application.

Subsequently, in connection to your participation on the event, your personal data may be processed also for the purpose of offering similar events to those that you have attended or connected services of the Controller. The legal basis for this type of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller.

In case where the data processing include the transfer outside of the European Union (EU) the transfer is based on EU approved standard contractual clauses, thus ensuring an adequate level of personal data protection as required by the applicable data protection laws.

The personal data controller and data processors shall establish technological, physical, administrative and procedural safeguards all in line with the industry accepted standards in order to protect and ensure the confidentiality, integrity or accessibility of personal data processed; prevent the unauthorized use of or unauthorized access to personal data processed or prevent a personal data breach (security incident) in accordance with applicable laws.

PERSONAL DATA RECIPIENTS

The personal data will be made accessible to the following categories of recipients: the authorized employees and representatives of the Controller and Processors.
Personal data may be also disclosed to the competent authorities as authorized by the applicable laws.

RETENTION PERIOD

The personal data will be processed for the period necessary in order to fulfill the purpose of the processing and in line with applicable legal regulation concerning the archiving of the documentation, however not longer than 10 years. After the expiry of the aforementioned period, the personal data will be permanently deleted.

DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

As personal data subject you have the right to request from the Controller access to your personal data as well as rectification or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing or object to processing, and the right to obtain a copy of your processed personal data. All rights described in this paragraph can be enforced by sending an e-mail request to the data controller at deloitteSK@deloitteCE.com

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in the Slovak Republic in case you consider that the processing of you personal data infringes the applicable laws.

Provision of your personal data is necessary in order to arrange for your participation on the requested event; should the your personal data be not provided the arrangement of your participation at the event will not be possible.
