Future of Work

The nature of work and the workforce is changing rapidly, driven by the acceleration of connectivity and cognitive technologies. Almost every job is being reinvented as the workplace evolves to a flexible workforce augmented by software, robots, crowds, and artificial intelligence.

Deloitte has been at the forefront of chronicling this trend and working with employers to navigate the future of work. Deloitte is helping organizations understand this new, augmented workforce and the changes they must implement, from the way they design jobs and organize work to how they think about workforce and skills planning. From a public policy perspective, Deloitte is engaging with leaders on issues such as identifying and developing the skills that will be in demand in the future, as well as understanding how to harness the opportunities an inclusive workplace presents.

Smart Regulation

Smart regulation is about making rules simpler and managing them more effectively around the world, while allowing regulators and business the flexibility to adapt to changes as they arise. International coordination, consistency in approach, and above all dialogue will be increasingly critical in mitigating potential risks to the public interest. With ever-smarter regulation required as new opportunities and challenges emerge in our changing world, Deloitte is actively engaged in the global conversation.
