Denise Shepherd

Denise is a managing director, Deloitte Services LP, and serves as the National Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leader, accountable for Deloitte’s DEI strategy and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization. Denise has led Deloitte Consulting LLP’s strategic talent portfolio and, more recently, Deloitte’s organization-wide workforce strategy, enabling her to bring a talent lens to the forefront of Deloitte’s DEI efforts.

She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Deloitte Foundation. She has been the Talent DEI Leader and Sacramento Inclusion Council and Women & Allies champion. Denise is also heavily involved in the Sacramento community as the National Coalition of 100 Black Women’s Economic Empowerment Chair. Her experience is greatly valued as she moves the organization forward in continuing to drive equitable outcomes and creating a culture of inclusive leadership within and outside of our organization.

Denise has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University and a Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley, Goldman School of Public Policy.
