Laura Ray
St. Louis Managing Partner
Laura Ray is the managing partner of the St. Louis practice at Deloitte LLP. As managing partner, Laura oversees four key business areas: Audit, Tax, Consulting, and Advisory Services and leads marketplace and community activities.
Additionally, she serves as a partner in Deloitte’s National Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3) Tax Services group, which includes more than 200 professionals in the US dedicated to federal credits and incentives work.
She has more than 19 years’ experience performing and leading R&D tax credit analysis in a wide variety of industries, and has recently focused heavily on the employee retention credit, which was passed as part of the CARES Act. She serves as the Gi3 national service line industry leader for A&E&C. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and a member of the Accountancy Advisory Board, Laura received a B.S. cum laude in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting.
