Sandy Pfeffer

Sandy is the marketplace leader for Deloitte in Greater Philadelphia and a client leader for several of Deloitte’s financial services clients. As marketplace leader, she oversees over 2,100 professionals and is responsible for the strategy, business development, corporate citizenship, and other strategic initiatives across the region. She prides herself in building on Deloitte’s strong legacy: providing high-quality client service, investing in a world-class talent experience for our people, and positively impacting society.

During her more than 25 years of experience, Sandy has provided services to clients within the Financial Services and Hospitality industries, primarily public companies on key strategic initiatives. She provides a wide range of advisory services to companies that are evaluating and executing transformational activities or large complex transactions, anchored with significant SEC, technical accounting experience and industry knowledge.

Sandy started her career with Deloitte in the external audit practice, after graduating from Temple University. She spent her first 11 years in the audit practice, including a rotation through Deloitte’s national office with a focus on complex accounting matters and SEC rules and regulations.

Sandy is a passionate advocate for our people and community. She serves on our Deloitte Greater Philadelphia Corporate Citizenship Council and on our Diversity Equity & Inclusion Council and, was our past Women & Allies Community executive sponsor. She also serves as the Greater Philadelphia community as the Chair for Women United of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern NJ and an active sponsor and champion of Girls Inc of Greater Philadelphia & Southern NJ. She is a board of trustee member of her alma mater, Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School and chairs the finance committee.

Sandy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
