Deloitte Vietnam: 25 years of development and success
On May 13, 2016, in Hanoi, Deloitte Vietnam held their 25th Anniversary celebrations at the Meliá Hanoi Hotel. Themed “A Journey to Excellence”, the ceremony was graced by Former Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hung; Deputy Minister of Finance, Ms. Vu Thi Mai; Deputy Auditor General, Mr. Doan Xuan Tien; Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Vu Tien Loc; Chairman of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA), along with representatives from agencies and departments of the Ministry of Finance, Government Office, and Central Boards, as well as leaders of Deloitte Asia Pacific, Deloitte Southeast Asia and Deloitte Vietnam, and accompanied by hundreds of valued clients and partners of Deloitte Vietnam.
The foundation of Vietnam’s independent audit sector officially commenced on May 13, 1991 when the Ministry of Finance signed the decision to establish Vietnam’s first audit company - Vietnam Auditing Company (VACO, the predecessor of Deloitte Vietnam).
After 25 years of growth, Deloitte Vietnam has established a strong position as a global brand with the breadth and depth of services to meet the demands of enterprises operating in Vietnam.
Deloitte Vietnam has achieved numerous accomplishments, contributing significantly to the development of the profession and the market, proving itself to be a pioneer in the Audit and Advisory field in Vietnam. Today, Deloitte Vietnam is rated one of the member firms with fast growth among all the member firms of Deloitte Global; and one of the companies with the highest revenue growth rate among peers in the same industry who are operating in Vietnam according to rankings of the Ministry of Finance in recent years.
