Deloitte continues to invest in expertise and leadership, appointing five new female and five new male partners

Zurich/Geneva, 3 June 2024

The audit and consulting firm Deloitte Switzerland has promoted ten experienced and successful professionals to partners, effective 1 June 2024. Additionally, nine other partners joined the organisation during the financial year. This reinforcement reflects Deloitte’s response to dynamic market developments and the company’s ongoing success across all business divisions. With continued sustainable growth and a strong focus on career development and employee inclusion, Deloitte is ideally positioned to assist its clients with upcoming changes and the efficient use of technologies.

The ten promoted professionals are in the Consulting, Audit, Tax & Legal, and Risk Advisory business divisions. Their appointment also strengthens cross-functional sustainability consulting as well as technology and digital expertise, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence. The new partners represent Deloitte’s diversity in education, profession, culture, origin and gender, with half of those promoted being women. Nine external partners joined Deloitte Switzerland during the financial year that ended on 31 May 2024, five are applying their skills in the Consulting business division, two in Financial Advisory and one each in Tax & Legal and Audit & Advisory.

“The large number of new partners is a clear sign of our confidence that our business development will remain extremely positive. It also reflects our high level of attractiveness as an employer in a very demanding job market,” says Reto Savoia, CEO of Deloitte Switzerland. “All those promoted have demonstrated exceptional abilities. They will play a key role in the further development of Deloitte and help prepare companies, organisations and the public sector in Switzerland for the future.”

Certification for Gender Equity

Deloitte Switzerland has also received the “We Pay Fair” label, which underscores its commitment to fair pay and equal opportunities. In a demanding certification process by the Competence Centre for Diversity & Inclusion at the University of St. Gallen, the salaries of Deloitte Switzerland employees were rigorously analysed.

“The ‘We Pay Fair’ label from the University of St. Gallen label confirms our continuous efforts towards fair remuneration, and shows that Deloitte ensures fair and transparent pay for all employees. We are proud of our diversity and our inclusive working environment, where all employees are supported equally in order to develop and grow on a personal and professional level,” says Veronica Melian, Chief People Officer of Deloitte Switzerland.
