As the new year approaches, it is time to address the changes it will bring. Numerous legislative updates and new laws are presenting companies with new challenges. Some of the amendments are already in effect, while others are due to come into force at the turn of the year.

In our multidisciplinary webcast, speakers from Deloitte Legal and Deloitte Tax will present a selection of important new regulations and provide an overview of the key new obligations that companies and their decision-makers will have to prepare for.

In particular, we will be focusing on the following topics:

  • Supply Chain Due Diligence Act
  • Overview of the key content of the following legal acts :

o   Act on the Modernization of Partnership Law (MoPeG),

o   EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation,

o   Whistleblower Protection Act,

o   Financing the Future Act

  • Latest developments in the area of Pillar 2 and German implementing legislation (draft of the Minimum Tax Act, MinStG-E)

Following the presentations, our speakers will also be available for a detailed Q&A.

Please do not hesitate to submit your questions for the Q&A session already in the course of your registration.

In our last webcast of 2023, we would like to introduce you to one of this year's Hidden Movers projects of the Deloitte Foundation, which you can support by participating in our webcast: With each participant, we will increase our donation to the good cause. We will announce the supported project and the total donation amount and at the end of the webcast.
