Kensuke Kurihara

Kurihara has an expertise of 15+ years in audit and accounting advisory services for listed companies.
During his secondment at Deloitte's Singapore and Thailand offices, where he served a wide range of roles including auditing, tax, risk advisory and consulting for Japanese clients.
He has been serving one of the largest banks in Japan and has deep knowledge for financial industry and global experiences.

Besides his assignment in audit & assurance businesses, in order to accelerate the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) as part of the management strategy, he launched the DEI Empowerment Network (formerly: Men's Network for DEI Empowerment) in 2022 which is an employee-led initiative in Deloitte Tohmatsu Group aimed at accelerating DEI through reforming the mindset of men, who are the majority of the organization.

Since 2023, he has been a member of the Deloitte Asia Pacific DEI Council, shaping the scope of the above activities to more diverse stakeholders and empowering initiative plans, proposals, and related communications. He also appeared on numbers of media (TV, interviews, etc.).
