Makoto Kobayashi

Makoto is a tax partner in International Tax and M&A services, specializing in tax due diligence and tax consulting relating to mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other corporate transactions. Makoto has approximately 15 years of professional experiences and has provided a variety of tax services for his clients, focusing on private equity funds and their portfolio companies in recent years. 

Between 2017 through 2019, Makoto spent two years on foreign assignment in Deloitte Tax LLP of the United States, where he obtained significant experiences relating to outbound M&A transactions of Japanese companies.
