Technology Fast 50 is the ultimate competition for fast-growing tech companies.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 & Rising Star competition is all about the fastest-growing technology companies in the Netherlands. Who are the drivers of future growth? Which scale-ups are high-growth winners? And what innovative start-up has the most potential?

Annually, Deloitte organises the Technology Fast 50 awards. With this ranking, the fifty fastest-growing technology companies in the Netherlands are recognised for their exceptional growth performance. Given their significant role as drivers of future growth, these companies deserve special recognition and support – and that is exactly what this competition is designed to provide.

Technology Fast 50 category

The Fast 50 is the main category of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. It recognises and ranks the 50 fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands, based on revenue growth over the last four years. If you participate in the Technology Fast 50, in addition to a place in the rankings, you also have a chance to be declared the winner of your industry. The following seven industries are defined: Hardware, Software, Communications, Media & Entertainment, Health Care & Life Sciences, Fintech and Environmental Technology. We also name the Most Sustainable Grower every year. This title is reserved for the company that achieved the highest positions in the annual ranking for the longest consecutive period.

The Fast 50 criteria

To enter the Technology Fast 50 competition, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • The majority of your revenue is generated with technology-based products or services
  • Your company is Dutch owned & headquartered in the Netherlands
  • It is founded on or before December 31, 2018
  • You have a base year operating revenue of at least €50,000 in 2019 and €1,000,000 in 2022

EMEA Fast 500

Tech companies, scale-ups and start-ups that enter the Technology Fast 50 competition automatically participate in the EMEA Fast 500: the global overview of the 500 fastest tech growers of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Inclusion in the rankings is a great way to secure extra attention from the press, customers, suppliers, investors and talent, both nationally and globally.
