Umesh Thakkar

Umesh is a managing director within Deloitte’s Application Modernization and Migration practice and has more than 20 years of experience in helping C-suite executives for Fortune 500 organizations with their IT, application transformation and Cloud journey across financial services, healthcare, telecom, consumer, and energy industries.

Umesh leads Deloitte’s Cloud Migration Solutions offering that specializes in large scale cloud migration, legacy application modernization, and cloud native transformation, leveraging pod-based delivery teams, highly automated processes, and assets combined with industrialized methodologies, tools, and accelerators. He also leads Deloitte's AWS Cloud Migration alliance and received the Migration Partner of the Year award in 2021. Umesh received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Pune. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying different cuisines.
