Charles leads Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice in British Columbia, bringing more than 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. He works with clients through all aspects of their transactions, from strategy, deal sourcing and prioritization, to diligence, closing and integration. Charles leads a team of high-performing advisors, leading by example through his practical advice and commitment to understanding what makes his clients’ businesses unique and positioned for strategic growth.

Charles’s experience covers a wide range of domestic and cross-border M&A structures and investments, assisting clients with their acquisitions and divestiture activities, integrating innovative solutions and developments for his clients to maintain a competitive edge backed by Deloitte Canada's industry-leading expertise. Charles has worked with clients on some of the largest and most complex M&A engagements in Canada. Former leader of the China-focused cross-border program as well as leading the Global M&A practice for Deloitte, Charles has significant experience in the energy, manufacturing and consumer business sectors.
