Pasquale Madonna

Pasquale Madonna is a Partner in the Global Trade Advisory group of Deloitte Canada, based in the Toronto office.

Pasquale brings to the practice over 15 years of public and private sector experience in the area of international trade. Prior to joining Deloitte, he held a senior role at another Big Four accounting firm and has worked at the World Trade Organization and the United Nations, where he advised governments on trade rules and market access issues.

Pasquale has extensive experience assisting clients across a wide variety of industries. He develops strategies to limit non-compliance, identifies opportunities to minimize duty costs and has successfully disputed assessments by customs authorities resulting in substantial savings for clients. His areas of expertise include tariff classification, free trade agreements, related-party valuation issues and tax-efficient supply chain planning.

Pasquale received his Master’s degree, summa cum laude, in International Relations and his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Florence. He has also completed a post-graduate program in International Business Management at the George Brown College. Pasquale holds a Certified Customs Specialist designation from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers.
