A partner in Consulting, Rahim is the National M&A Offering Leader. He runs a multi-disciplinary team with practitioners focused on strategy, operations, supply chain, finance, technology, and human capital in an M&A context. Rahim advises both buy- and sell-side clients on divestitures/carve-outs, mergers, and acquisitions. Rahim delivers deals for Canadian strategic clients and serves Canadian and US private equity clients. He has also played significant roles delivering large business transformations for retail banking and insurance clients.
The practice has deep experience in M&A strategy, pre-close strategy and planning, functional integration and blueprinting, integration/carve-out execution, and TSA cutover management. While the M&A practice has in the past grown through supporting financial services and oil-and-gas deals, its focus has increasingly turned the retail, manufacturing, and aerospace sectors.
