Renée Pichard

Renée is a partner in Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance practice, and leader in the firm’s Government of Canada account. She has more than 25 years of accounting advisory, auditing and executive leadership experience in the private and public sectors. Currently, Renée focuses on providing accounting, finance transformation and ESG reporting advisory services to government and public sector clients throughout Canada. She brings her public sector expertise to the Canadian ESG Reporting Advisory team. Before moving to public practice, Renee had a successful 17-year career with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, where she was Assistant Auditor General, leading the financial audit practice, including the audit of the Public Accounts of Canada. Renée is also the Canadian member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB), where she serves as Chair of the Natural Resources Task Force and member of the Sustainability Reporting Steering Committee.
