Sheri Penner

Sheri holds a number of executive roles with Deloitte, both in Canada and Globally, and also serves as Lead Client Service Partner for one of Deloitte Canada’s most iconic Global Private clients. As the National Managing Partner, Purpose & Sustainability, she is responsible for strategy and execution of Deloitte Canada’s programs related to organizational purpose, WorldImpact, WorldClimate and our Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan. Her role as Global Relationship Accelerator Lead allows Sheri to create and oversee strategies related to our Global Client Agenda framework, as well as Board, Executive and Alumni programs and Deloitte Insights. Each of these experiences help inform her work as a Vice Chair and Lead Client Service Partner to our clients and markets, ensuring we bring the best of Deloitte to our relationships.

Sheri’s previous roles include Atlantic Region Managing Partner, Atlantic Tax Practice Leader, National Private Tax Leader, and elected member of Deloitte Canada’s Board of Directors. Sheri has also served as a member of Deloitte’s executive for the Ontario region as the regional Consumer Business leader and led tax practices in both St. Catharines and Burlington. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from small to very large companies over the course of her career. Much of that career has centred on companies in Ontario and New Brunswick, with a focus on ER&I, as well as Consumer industries. Sheri’s technical experience includes domestic tax planning, estate and succession planning, as well as Canadian corporate and personal tax compliance.
