The European Commission believes the key is to drive greater pay transparency and has brought forwards a new Directive introducing initiatives including mandatory gender pay gap reporting, a ban on salary history questions to candidates and requiring the publishing of pay bands for vacancies. Andreas Jentgens is a lawyer and partner who has been with Deloitte Legal since 2000. He is a managing director of Deloitte Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and member of the Legal Leadership Team.
