SAP S/4 HANA transition cannot be avoided, but it can be managed well
Users of SAP ERP systems need to prepare for major changes, as the new platform S/4 HANA, which brings fundamental technological changes, was released a few years ago. Support for the current SAP ECC systems will be discontinued from 2027, so it is a good idea to start preparing for the transition now. However, the preparation and implementation of the new system is a complex and risky process – experts at Deloitte have put together some important considerations to avoid most pitfalls.

XML invoicing – the future of e-invoicing
As of 1 April 2021, taxpayers are obliged to perform their real-time invoice reporting obligation via the Online Számla system version 3.0 (3.0 XML schema). The new 3.0 schema introduces the XML e-invoicing method, which enables taxpayers to include all the invoice data of an invoice image in the XML and report all of them to the Tax Authority as a so-called “XML e-invoice”. New METÁR tender announced, large number of applicants expected
The Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority („HEA”) has published the Tender documentation and Information on the Second METÁR tender on 15 July 2020. HUF 800 million will be distributed for 390 GWh electricity production in course of the second METÁR tender.

Deloitte Legal assisted ABO Wind in its investment in Hungary
ABO Wind AG, a major player on the renewable energy market has begun the development of a 5.2 megawatt peak solar plant in the south of the town Debrecen. This is the second solar project of the company in Hungary; the German firm received assistance from Deloitte Legal.
