"The sale of MSZVK's non-performing corporate loan and real estate portfolio is the ever largest NPL transaction successfully completed in Hungary. Given that the preparation and successful execution of the transaction required continuous legal support, Deloitte acted as legal advisor to MSZVK. The completion of the transaction is considered as a great success by all the stakeholders including the Resolution Fund and the National Bank of Hungary as MSZVK managed to fulfil its mandate within 3 years instead of the initially planned 10-year period and fully pay back its loan granted by a consortium of banks to buy and manage the portfolio."
