dr. Sándor Laczka

Sandor Dr. Laczka is economist and lawyer, joined the tax team of Deloitte in 2019 where he works as a director.

During his career, he gained significant big4 advisory experience in corporate income tax (and other direct taxes) as well as in VAT (and other indirect taxes). He worked among others on tax treatment of international financing, holding and licensing structures, M&A deals, reorganizationts. He has wide experience also in domestic advisory, in various industries.

In the last 6 years, before joining Deloitte, Sandor worked for the market leader retailer (in terms of turnover) in Hungary. He acted first as Hungarian Country Tax and Treasury Manager, then Central European Head of Tax and finally as central European Head of Financial Control, Accounting, Transactions Processing, Treasury and Working Capital (plus finance member of the board in the local Hungarian entity), leading a team of 330 colleagues.

He is the leader of the Retail-FMCG industry group at Deloitte Hungary. His other main focus areas are Technology, Media and Telecommunication as well as the Sport industry.
