Deloitte Legal advises K&H Bank on the financing of solar projects in Hungary

Deloitte Legal has advised K&H Bank on a HUF 18 billion financing provided for the development of solar power plants in Hungary by HELIOSYS, s.r.o.

HELIOSYS, s.r.o is a Slovak innovative technology supplier providing comprehensive and professional solutions on the field of energy with a substantial focus on renewable energy sources.

Long-term financing documentation for the financing of additional 39 projects by K&H Bank was signed in October 2020. Financial closing occurred by September 2020 partially and is expected around January 2021 for the additional projects.

The total portfolio financed by K&H Bank with the legal support of Deloitte Legal consists of 139 photovoltaic power plant projects with the aggregate installed capacity of ca. 68.5 MW developed by 20 project companies at 4 locations in Hungary.

Deloitte Legal team was led by Senior Managing Associate Linda Al Sallami with the support of Managing Partner Attila Kövesdy, and included Magdolna Csider (Partner Associate), Gábor Babus (Managing Associate), Bránkó Gyurity (Managing Associate - RE), Nanetta Pék (Attorney-at-law), Ádám Kreutzer (Attorney-at-law), Zsolt Pintér (Junior Lawyer), and Sára Rideg (Junior Lawyer).
