MOL signed an agreement with OMV to acquire its 92.25% shareholding in OMV Slovenija, operator of the 2nd largest fuel retail network in Slovenia .*

Deloitte acted as MOL’s financial and tax advisor in the transaction.

* The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in 2022.

The acquisition of OMV Slovenija is in line with the long-term strategy of MOL Group to further expand its service station network in Central and Eastern Europe. Following the closing of the deal, MOL Group will be the nr. 2 retail market-player in Slovenia.
