Pawankumar Kulkarni

Pawan is a Chartered Accountant having more than 16 years of experience. He is also a qualified Chartered/ Company Secretary – a license for person having expert knowledge in legal laws of company form of organization and holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the Karnataka University.

Pawan has experience in International tax and M&A-tax matters for over 16 years.

In Japan, he has assisted many MNCs in various India / cross border tax and regulatory matters including setting-up of new companies / branches / project offices, tax and regulatory compliances, group and transaction structuring, permanent establishment matters, foreign tax credits, litigation, withholding taxes, etc. While he was in India, he has also assisted MNCs, including listed entities, in their acquisition / transaction / group restructuring matters involving mergers, demergers, slump sale, liquidations, strike-offs, etc. and tax due diligences.

Pawan was vice-chairman of the Japan Chapter of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has written many articles in various journals and has been guest speaker at various forums as well.
