After joining Katsushima Toshiaki Certified Tax Accounting Office (currently Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co.), Yumi Wakui extended various tax services to foreign and domestic companies, conducted comprehensive external audits, and was engaged in tax affairs related to organizational restructuring. Currently, she focuses on tax affairs related to non-profit corporations.
As the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group’s professional specializing in tax issues related to public interest corporations, she has extensive experience in tax compliance and tax consulting services for public interest corporations, including independent administrative institutions, national research and development agencies, and other public corporations such as educational institutes, associations, foundations, and NPOs. She is offering a wide range of public interest corporation-related tax consulting services, such as by providing support in establishing public interest corporations, assisting business succession planning, and helping clients to comply with the revised consumption tax law.
