Deloitte China has been certified as a Top Employer in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau by the Top Employers Institute for the 12th consecutive year.

"The award is indeed a recognition of our qualities as an employer of choice; and it is our priority to always care about our people’s development, achievement and well-being," said Deloitte China Chief Executive Officer Patrick Tsang. "We place a high value on our talent, while connecting them with inspiring leaders and mentors in a supportive and innovative environment, ultimately enabling them to actualize their purpose and potential."

All these programs and enhancements are driven by our talent strategy and are reflective of the due attention we pay to our employees' feedback."

"We will continue to listen to our people and empower them in driving forth the strategy and practices for sustainable talent growth and engagement," added Jungle Wong.

The Top Employers Certification is one of the most reputable employment surveys in the world, and it aims to bring consistent improvements to the overall employment ecosystem through the implementation of high standards. With an inside-out approach, the survey represented a holistic evaluation of a company across all levels and aspects, such as talent strategy, work environment, compensation and benefits, as well as professional development. During the selection process, participating employers must undergo a stringent research process and meet the required high standards in order to obtain the certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all submitted documentation and materials were independently audited, meaning this research has verified Deloitte China’s outstanding employee conditions and earned the firm a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.

The Top Employers Institute assessed Deloitte China’s employee offerings on the following criteria:

  • Talent Strategy
  • Workforce Planning
  • On-boarding
  • Learning & Development
  • Performance Management
  • Leadership Development
  • Career & Succession Management
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Culture

Nicole Jin, Country Manager China for the Top Employers Institute said, "Top Employers Institute has a strict and high standard for participants to meet during the certification process. Only companies who have a real interest in developing their talents and who possess a mature Human Resources foundation will pass the pre-screen stage.  Only those who can meet the international certification standards throughout the process can be named as the Top Employers. Our research concluded that Deloitte China provides an outstanding work environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives, from secondary benefits and working conditions, to performance-management programmes that are well thought-out and truly aligned with the culture of their company."
