Riding on the "Data Intelligence" Tailwind - Deloitte and Alibaba Cloud Elevate Collaboration and Open a New Chapter

Recently, a cross-functional delegation from Deloitte China including various senior Partners and led by Stanley Dai, Deloitte China Deputy CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, and Consulting CEO, attended the Alibaba Cloud Apsara Conference 2023 at Yunqi Town, Hangzhou.
The delegation met with Alibaba Cloud senior executives and reached alignment on establishing closer cooperation around four key themes: New China Solutions for multinational companies (MNCs), globalization of Chinese companies, Salesforce business in China, and enterprise-level artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

Deloitte and Alibaba Cloud will focus on "data intelligence" and "end-to-end digital upgrades" in the following areas of collaboration:
New China Solutions for MNCs: Joint service offerings to help multinationals improved their localized operations in business model transformation, data compliance, system upgrades, and other areas.
Globalization of Chinese Companies: Joint market activities to design customized solutions, starting with Southeast Asia before expanding to other regions.
Salesforce Business in China: Multiple innovations across Salesforce's China business, establishing partnerships in several areas.
Enterprise-level AI applications: Combining Deloitte's industry experience and Alibaba Cloud's cloud computing capabilities to help clients unlock the value of their data assets, identify and optimize AI application scenarios, and assist clients to become "AI-driven" enterprises.
An elevated partnership
Recalling Alibaba Cloud and Deloitte’s collaboration history in previous years, Stanley Dai acknowledged both sides’ high professionalism in capabilities and services in areas such as digital transformation, supply chain optimization, and industrial internet ecosystems. The joint release of the Whitepaper: Guidebook for Chinese Enterprises' Overseas Business Data Compliance at the Apsara Conference 2023 is another intellectual achievement for Alibaba Cloud and Deloitte as they contribute to China-to-Global (C2G) opportunities – the high-quality development of Chinese enterprises’ business expansion to global markets.
Deloitte aims to deepen these thematic collaborations, continuously drive enterprise cloud transformation, and create customized cloud platforms for Chinese and foreign enterprises entering and operating in China and abroad. This includes deepening and iterating the service capabilities of existing systems and leading the exploration of enterprise AI applications. Deloitte will provide clients with forward-looking, innovative solutions in the digital economy era.
Edward Cai, Chief Commercial Officer of Alibaba Cloud, stated that partners are not only an integral part of Alibaba Cloud's business but also a key driving force of its long-term and stable development. He said Alibaba Cloud hopes to leverage its own strengths and those of Deloitte to join forces in areas such as the internationalization of Chinese enterprises, serving foreign enterprises in China, and industry digitization, jointly serving clients and promoting the development of the digital economy.
