Deloitte participates in China Smart City International Expo

The Fourth China Smart City International Expo 2018 takes place from 21 to 23 August in Shenzhen under the theme 'New Era, New Journey – Digital China, Smart Society'.

Deloitte China CEO Patrick Tsang led our delegation alongside Deloitte China Vice Chair Vivian Jiang, Deloitte China Southern Region Managing Partner Dennis Chow, Deloitte Shenzhen Office Managing Partner Tom Kwok, Deloitte China Markets and Global Network Deputy Managing Partner John Hung, Deloitte China Growth Academy Dean Jennifer Xu and Deloitte China Public Sector Leader Clare Ma.

The Expo is a great platform for us to highlight how our thought leadership, solutions and business credentials make a true difference to urban development. At our exhibition booth, we have showcased our successful client stories in Fintech, which plays an important part in developing a smart city.

Deloitte has tremendous confidence in smart city development in China. According to our earlier research, China has about 500 smart city pilot projects, the most in the world, bringing the concept to the forefront of national urban planning and development for greater well-being of citizens.
