Deloitte enters into Strategic Collaboration 2.0 with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Recognized with Two Awards
On July 21st and 22nd, 2021, Deloitte attended the AWS Summit Shanghai as a strategic partner. The two parties announced that Deloitte and AWS entered into strategic collaboration 2.0.
Deloitte Consulting China National Managing Partner Stanley Dai delivered the keynote speech. In his words, "We live in an era where new technologies continue to emerge, digitization-driven disruption is taking place all over China, enterprises are increasingly paying attention on business transformation and capability building, and cloud-enabled business operations are accelerating. In this market environment, Deloitte and AWS are joining forces to assist enterprises with their end-to-end business transformation and value capture. Deloitte and AWS have developed strategic collaboration in various dimensions since Deloitte became a premier partner of AWS, yielding fruitful results. In China, our strategic collaboration with AWS began in 2018, and since then we have collaborated in multiple areas such as cloud, digital innovation, security and compliance; we established cloud labs in 2019 to provide one-stop services for clients to support their business transformation and cloud-enabled business operations; and we established security labs in 2021 to provide clients with security and compliance solutions based on cloud native application services. As Deloitte and AWS strengthen cooperation on industry solutions, we are now entering into strategic collaboration 2.0. By elevating our collaboration, we will jointly roll out a range of industry solutions and enhance our talent pool to offer quality cloud solutions to support the business and digital transformation of our clients."
AWS Corporate VP, Managing Director of GCR Elaine Chang also delivered a speech, expressing that, "Deloitte is a premier partner of AWS, and we have entered into strategic collaboration for years in China. I'm glad our collaboration is elevated to a higher level. China is in a critical period of accelerating cloud applications and cloud-enabled transformation, AWS will continue to join forces with partners like Deloitte to cater to business transformation and digital innovation of clients at home and abroad by leveraging both parties' extensive practical experience, leading technology and strategic perspectives."
At the same time, Deloitte received the "GSI APN Partner of the Year 2021" and "APN Security Competency" awards.
Subsequently, Deloitte China AWS Alliance Lead and Consulting Partner Zhu Hao, together with 19 partners of AWS, initiated the cloud accelerator program.
