Joseph Chu

Joseph Chu has more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation, technology advisory, big data and artificial intelligence. Joseph joined Deloitte USA in 1999, and later came to China and established our Management Solutions and Enterprise Risks Services practice (MS-ERS) in mainland China. Joseph was later promoted to lead partner for Eastern Region Enterprise Risks Services.

As China Leader of Deloitte AI Institute, Joseph works together with AI leaders in other Deloitte member firms, dedicated to applying AI technologies such as facial recognition, natural language processing and robotics, etc. to drive business value.

Joseph has initiated and established Deloitte Analytics Institute, the digital technology hub comprised of data scientists and AI experts and acts as the catalyst to drive innovative and digital service-offerings that differentiate our China firm in various pursuit activities as well as project execution.

Joseph is a true pioneer in leveraging new technologies in our business, including leading the incubation and deployment of Deloitte Cloud Infrastructure, Digital Finance with Finance Robotic Automation (RPA) and Audit Process Automation (APA), etc.

In September 2017, Joseph Chu was appointed as Chief Digital Officer of Deloitte China. In his role, Joseph has been driving both internal and external digital strategies with a task force team of seasoned business leaders and experts and accelerating the development of digital transformation in China.
