Patrick Au

Patrick is a Partner of Deloitte Consulting based in Hong Kong. He joined the firm in 2018 and has over 19 years of experience in both consulting and direct insurance companies. Leveraging the work experience in both finance and actuarial functions, Patrick’s main focus is finance and actuarial transformation projects including the implementation of new insurance accounting standard IFRS 17, standardization and centralization of actuarial modelling platform and process improvement within the finance and actuarial functions. Prior to joining Deloitte, he was Assistant Vice President of Chubb Life Regional Finance team, supporting the Regional CFO in managing the Asian countries’ US GAAP earnings, capital management and being the owner of the annual budgeting process. He has also led various finance and actuarial projects including the source of earning analysis, development of accounting policy for life insurance, expense study and various actuarial modelling work.
