Dimitris Koutsopoulos

Chief Executive Officer

Dimitris is the CEO of Deloitte Greece and Member of the Deloitte Central Mediterranean Executive Committee. 

Dimitris joined Deloitte in 1998 and as the CEO, since 2015, he has contributed significantly to the development of new services, both in terms of scope and number, in the expansion of the company throughout Greece, and in its technological transformation. Under his leadership, Deloitte Greece has reached a headcount of 2,700 people, having quadrupled its workforce in just 6 years.

He is a Chartered Accountant ICAEW, a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA) and holds a BSc in Economics and two post graduate degrees in International Finance and Business & Management. Dimitris is a member of the Supervisory Committee of the Greek Registered Auditors and a Founding Member of the Council of Competitiveness of Greece.

Nikos Christodoulou

Partner, Consulting Business Leader

Nikos is a Partner, Consulting Business Leader at Deloitte Greece since 2018. He has significant experience in designing and delivering large transformational projects, managing business cases in new technologies, designing new organizational models and post-merger integration. From 2011 to 2018, he worked at National Bank of Greece as Group COO and CIO, responsible for managing the Group’s Operations and IT, including digitization, IT operations, back-office operations, treasury operations, real estate and technical services. From 1997 to 2011, he worked as Strategy Partner, Head of Management Consulting for another international consulting company in Greece. Nikos holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, an MBA from Warwick Business School and a PhD in Decision Management Systems from National Technical University of Greece. He has also worked as a research fellow at INSEAD, France.

Maria Trakadi

Partner, Tax & Legal Business Leader

Maria is an Equity Partner, Tax & Legal Business Leader at Deloitte Greece and member of the Executive Committee. With more than 20 years of experience, she has been providing tax advisory services to Greek and multinational clients across all industries. Maria is a member of the tax committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and a member of the tax committee of SEV, the Hellenic federation of Enterprises. She serves as the main point of contact for Consumer Business sector. Her focus also revolves on Telecoms and Life Sciences.

Alexis Damalas

Partner, Financial Advisory Business Leader

Alexis is the Financial Advisory Business Leader and Equity Partner of Deloitte in Greece specializing in Valuation, M&A Advisory, Dispute Consulting and Reorganization. With over twenty five years professional experience, Alexis has excellent understanding of major sectors of the economy, including banking, telecommunications, health, tourism & leisure sectors, amongst others, both in local and international level and he has carried out projects on behalf of banks, investing institutions and boards of directors. He has acquired a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and an MBA - SDA from Bocconi University in Italy.

Vassilis Kafatos

Partner, Growth Leader, DACC President

Vassilis Kafatos (Partner) is Deloitte Greece Growth Leader and President of the Deloitte Alexander Competence Center. He specializes in corporate & digital strategy, innovation, business model transformation, financial management and mergers & acquisitions. Vassilis has over 25 years of advisory experience in various sectors including travel, hospitality, investment management, consumer business and manufacturing. He serves as Trustee of the Board of Anatolia College, as Vice President of the American - Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, as Vice President of the Federation of Industries of Greece, and as President of the Advisory Board of the Council on Competitiveness of Greece. He holds a degree in Economic Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of Texas at Austin and postgraduate diplomas in Business Leadership from IMD, Lausanne.

George Balafoutis

Panayiotis Chormovitis

Chief Operating Officer,Equity Partner, M&A Transaction Services Leader, Financial Advisory

Panayiotis is Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte Greece, Equity Partner in Financial Advisory and the M&A Transaction Services Leader. With almost 20 years of experience, Panayiotis specializes in the M&A Transaction Advisory (Corporate & Banking), Loan Portfolio Advisory and M&A Value Creation Services, having worked for a wide range of sectors both for local and cross-border transactions.

He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds a BSc in Economics and a post graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Vassilis Christopoulos

Partner, Audit & Assurance

Vassilis is a Partner at Deloitte Greece with more than eighteen years
of experience in the audit & assurance profession. He leads audits in large listed companies, local subsidiaries of multinationals groups and also private equity businesses. He also performs other assurance and non assurance projects, such as capital market transactions both in Greek and foreign stock exchange, compliance, mergers and demergers. Vassilis holds a degree in Economics, a master in Business Administration and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and of the respective professional body in Greece.

Fenia Giannopoulou

Dina Karsas

Ilias Koimtzoglou

Partner, Managing, Attorney-at-Law, LL.M.

Ilias specializes in M&A, Finance, Privatizations, Corporate Restructuring and Antitrust Law. He has advised domestic and foreign clients in complex corporate transactions with cross border elements and foreign investors in a number of acquisitions of strategic assets through privatization procedures or corporate restructurings. He has also represented various international clients before the Hellenic Competition Commission and the Greek courts in landmark cases of antitrust law litigation. Ilias is a member of the Competition Law working group of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), member of the Advisory Board of the MSc in the Business Program of the ALBA Graduate Business School, and member of the Advisory Committee of the Minister of Finance regarding the implementation of the reformed Bankruptcy Code.

Analia Kokkoris

Analia is the People & Purpose Leader in Greece and has over 18 years of public accounting experience and vast audit experience in the shipping industry including audits of entities listed on the US markets, compliance with applicable IFRS/ U.S. GAAP, PCAOB standards, IPO and secondary offerings experience, and audits of subsidiaries of MNC’s according to IFRS/ US GAAP. Alexandra Kostara

Thomas Leventis

Thomas is Equity Partner in Tax and Consumer Industry Leader at Deloitte Greece. Theodoros is a Consulting Partner in the Strategy, Analytics and M&A practice of Deloitte Greece. Based in the office of Thessaloniki, he is responsible for the development of Deloitte’s services in Northern Greece. With over 20 years of professional experience, he has vast expertise in the areas of strategy development, business analysis and planning, financial and operational restructuring, business and operational model optimization and M&A advisory. experience on the banking sector, Agamemnon has served a number of key roles prior to joining Deloitte, such as Senior Director Digital Banking and
Director, Operations and PMO at leading Greek financial institutions. During
the period 2010-2012, he served as an Advisor to the CEO of a major insurance firm, leading a company-wide operational effectiveness program, while during 2001-2007 he worked for a business advisory organization holding the position of Associate Partner, Corporate Finance Practice.

Eftichia Piligou

Konstantinos Roumpis

Konstantinos is a Tax Partner, Leader of the International Tax & M&A practices at Deloitte Greece. He is engaged in projects combining international and local corporate income tax legislation, thus inbound and outbound investments’ advice focusing on real estate and energy sectors. Konstantinos is a member of the Athens Bar Association and the Greek branch of the International Fiscal Association. Michalis Stergiou

Michalis is an Audit & Assurance Partner at Deloitte Greece. He has over 14 years of experience in the field of auditing US listed shipping companies as well as other companies, which report under either IFRS or US GAAP.  He has led projects relating to audit of systems of internal control over financial reporting, conversion of financial statements from IFRS to US GAAP, follow-on and bond offerings in the USA. Spiros Vamvakousis

Spiros is a Tax Partner at Deloitte Greece. During his 15 years of professional experience, Spiros has been highly involved in providing clients with tax advice and tax compliance services on a regular basis. He has been involved in tax due diligence projects, diagnostic tax reviews and restructuring projects in the tax affairs of multinational companies and has been engaged in tax audits and Tax Certificate issuance.Spiros specializes in tax aspects such as corporate income tax, value added tax, legislation regulating issues related to maintenance of book and issuance of tax records, stamp duty, real estate duty, compliance with e-reporting obligations, monitoring of the tax base in the books. He holds a BSc in Finance and Banking Administration and an ΜΒΑ (specialized in Finance and Accounting) both from the University of Piraeus. Christos Vidakis

Christos is a Risk Advisory Partner at Deloitte Greece and leader of Cyber Risk Services with special emphasis on Cybersecurity. With over 15 years of experience on information systems security, auditing, technology, security operations, risk management, operating models & incident response, Christos has helped clients understand information technology and business risks, make intelligent risk decisions, implement controls, and provide ongoing measurement and monitoring of their risk environment.

Despina Xenaki

Partner, Audit & Assurance

Despina is an Audit Partner with extensive experience in auditing, IPOs, IFRS adoption projects and due diligence for acquisitions. She has significant experience in Gap analysis projects regarding Solvency II as well as in the implementation of Solvency II for a number of local and multinational insurance companies. Despina has led assessments in distribution channels for large insurance companies and provided training on IFRS adoption to insurance companies.

Spyridon Bisisidis

Partner, Risk Advisory, FRM Leader

Spyridon is the Partner responsible for the development and delivery of Financial Risk Management (FRM) propositions at Deloitte Greece. He has extensive professional experience of over 14 years in the Financial Services sector which includes a significant number of consulting and advisory projects across all three lines of defense plus statutory audit.

Indicative recent experience and Engagement Leader includes large scale
advisory projects in the context of C&E risks integration into risk management frameworks, credit risk modelling and validation at A-IRB Banks in Greece and abroad, IFRS 9 implementation, Capital Management and Stress Testing support, as well as management consulting projects focusing on regulatory and strategic issues within the Banking sector. 

He holds an M.Sc. degree in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde Business School, UK and is a member of the
Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) in the UK. He is a member of Deloitte’s Banking Union Center in Frankfurt (BUCF), as well as, Basel III, IFRS 9, and Capital Management & Stress Testing Working Groups at  Deloitte North South Europe (NSE). 

Konstantinos Kakoliris

Partner, Audit & Assurance 

Konstantinos is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance of Deloitte Greece and for the last 16 years, he has supported his clients to a series of corporate restructurings and other financial projects.

He is specialised in the accounting area of financial instruments with prolonged experience in audit of financial institutions, IFRS Advisory projects
and provision of Assurance services under ISAE 3000 covering aspects such as
sustainability reporting (ESG), L.4548 requirements and IPOs.

 

Sophie Manolis

Partner, Audit & Assurance

Sophie is Partner of Audit & Assurance and holds a degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. She is a Canadian Certified Public Accountant and US Certified Public Accountant (Illinois).  Sophie is also a member of the Greek Institute of Chartered Accountants.  She has worked in public practice since 2002 and has served a wide range of clients in the real estate, retail, health, insurance, and non-for-profit industries.  Since joining Deloitte Athens in 2007, she has served clients exclusively in the shipping industry. Her vast audit experience in the shipping industry includes audits of entities listed on the US markets, compliance with applicable IFRS/U.S. GAAP, PCAOB standards and SEC rules and regulations, IPO and secondary offerings experience. She is also involved in the audits of private shipping companies reporting under IFRS and U.S. GAAP.

Manos Kotronakis

Partner, Financial Advisory

Manos is a Partner in the Financial Advisory practice of Deloitte in Greece specializing in Turnaround and Restructuring, with a focus on Value Creation and Operational Improvement. He has more than 25 years of financial and operational experience and has carried out large projects involving corporate restructuring, operational due diligence, business reviews and post-merger integration. Before Deloitte, Manos worked as Managing Director at the Restructuring practice of another international consulting company in Greece which he joined in 2014. From 2003-2014, he has served as Partner and COO of a Greek private equity firm. From 1993-2003, he held several senior finance positions in a multinational beverages company, based in Athens, London and Hong Kong. Manos holds a BSc in Business Science from Athens School of Economics, an MSc in computer applications from Cranfield Institute of Technology and an MBA from London Business School.

Elefheria Kyriakopoulou

Partner, Financial Advisory

Eleftheria, Partner in the Financial Advisory department has over 14 years of professional experience. For the last 8 years, she has been working at Deloitte, providing services in the financial sector both in Greece and abroad. She has led special audit projects of financial statements of banking institutions, overseeing of acquisition and sales of non-performing loans, performing strategic analysis and management of portfolios, leading buy-side and sell-side processes for banking and financial institutions. She has also participated in projects to convert financial statements from GAAP to IFRS, carve out projects during the reorganization and deleveraging of the Hellenic banking system, asset quality control (AQR) projects both in Greece and abroad as well as internal process control projects. She holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Sergios Takos

Partner, Financial Advisory 

Sergios is an M&A Transaction Services Partner in the Financial Advisory department of Deloitte Greece. During the last eleven years, Sergios has participated and led numerous financial due diligence projects across many sectors and industries. Renato Tzeferacos

Yannis Dracoulis

Partner, Financial Advisory, Forensic, Financial Crime & Disputes

Yannis is a partner in the high specialized Forensic, Financial Crime and Disputes department of Deloitte Greece. He has more than 20 years of experience in investigations, compliance, anti-corruption services and litigation support. He has supervised over 500 forensic engagements in Greece and in other countries in the Balkan geographic area.Indicative industries include Life Sciences, Financial Services, Construction, Retail, Media and Entertainment as well as Tourism.Before joining Deloitte, Yannis acted as a leader of the Forensic and Integrity Services practice of an international consulting firm, also leading the respective practice of the South cluster overseeing Cyprus, Malta, Romania and Bulgaria. He started his career in 2002 as an IT Auditor and in 2008 he was assigned to build the Forensic practice in Greece.Yannis is a founding member of the Association of Fraud Examiners – Greek chapter and an instructor in the University of Athens in an executive master’s degree for the lecture of Fraud Examination Practices.  Yannis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus, a Master’s degree in IT with Business from Heriot Watt University, UK and a LLM degree in IT, Innovation and the Law from the University of Edinburgh, UK.

Sotiris Batzias

Sotiris is a Consulting Partner in Deloitte Greece and focuses on strategic orientation and operations’ planning for both public and private sector organizations. He brings over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, financial and economic analysis, investment feasibility assessment, impact assessment, and performance improvement. His consulting expertise is focused on sectors of the economy that face significant challenges in transformation and sustainable development, particularly in energy, utilities, environment, industry, real estate, and transportation. Sotiris has collaborated with numerous private-sector clients as well as public sector organizations on initiatives related to economic development, structural reforms, and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), an MSc from the University of Leeds, and an MBA in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Leeds University Business School in Great Britain.

Efstathios is the Tax Counsel of the Athens Bar Association, as well as of the Plenary of Greek Bar Associations. He has actively participated in several preparatory committees on new tax legislation and has authored several books and publications on tax law issues.He has also lectured in and coordinated the Postgraduate Program in Tax Law / Taxation of Athens University of Economics and Business from 2010 until 2020.
