What is Panel Promise?
Panel Promise is our initiative to pursue a gender-balanced representation of “40% (Men): 40% (Women): 20% (Men/Women/Others to empower diversity)” on panels at events, forums and/or conferences etc. – to improve empowerment and eminence of women leaders in the economy and the society. We aim to promote gender equality in the selection of panelists and take various diversity perspectives into consideration.
Initiatives in Panel Promise
We trust the Panel Promise will further empower not only gender equality, but also foster an inclusive environment to enable innovative and comprehensive discussions between diverse members. This applies not only to our internal events but also to external ones. We may kindly ask and collaborate with hosts, sponsors and related parties to join us in achieving the panelists’ composition to be “40:40:20” as set out in the above Panel Promise within events, forums and/or conferences in which members of Deloitte Tohmatsu Group shall participate.
