Deloitte Tohmatsu Group won Gold Award for 3 consecutive years over “PRIDE Index” –as one of the friendliest companies for LGBT

TOKYO, JAPAN, 12 Nov 2020
Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has received Gold Award for 3 consecutive years based on PRIDE Index –which has been set by voluntary organization called work with Pride, to acknowledge LGBT initiatives. PRIDE Index is the very first guideline in Japan established in 2016, to measure the initiatives over sexual minorities such as LGBT at work environment, and has been set as the guidelines for the companies to acknowledge the friendly environment for LGBT and to empower internal initiatives etc.
Diversity & Inclusion has been one of the most crucial management strategies at Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, and we have been empowering various initiatives to achieve an inclusive work environment, including LGBT related. In particular, we have various internal initiatives such as our original e-learning contents on LGBT basics with case studies of coming out of the closet etc., as well as transition guidelines and special consultation team –just to name a few. We also empower the nationwide inclusion initiatives for the entire group to fully spread an inclusive mindset and its network, through the online sessions and events, as well as our internal Ally network in multiple regional locations.
