Early Career Development Programme

Our programme will equip you with all the skills you need to deliver high quality Audit and Assurance work, in a rapidly changing industry. We focus on both professional and leadership training to help develop students throughout their professional journey. There are opportunities to gain insights into other parts of the firm via a rotation programme, as well as a choice of career pathways. Our coaching framework combines formal training with on-the-job learning, in an inspiring, diverse and inclusive environment. During the course of the programme, you’ll graduate with a prestigious ICAEW, CIMA or ICAS accounting qualification.

BrightStart Higher Apprenticeship

  • Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accounting and Taxation
    • Includes the ICAEW’s ACA qualification
    • Duration: 48 months
  • Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accounting and Taxation

Industrial Placement

  • ACA Accounting & Assurance – Internal papers, no formal exams

Graduate Programme

  • Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accounting and Taxation
    • Includes the ICAEW’s ACA qualification
    • Duration: 36 months
  • Level 7 Apprenticeship in Accounting and Taxation (intensive)
    • Includes ICAS’ CA qualification
    • Duration: 36 months
    • Available in London only
  • CIMA – Certificate in Business Accounting, with the option to progress to complete the full CIMA qualification

BrightStart Apprenticeships

  • Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship, including BSc Hons in Digital and Technology Solutions. Depending on your business unit you will specialise in one of the following areas:
    • Technology Consultant
    • Data Analysis
    • Software Engineer
  • The duration of this apprenticeship is 36 months

  • Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship, including BA Hons in Management Practice

The duration of this apprenticeship is 36-48 months

Graduate Programme

  • CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting, with the option to progress to complete the full CIMA qualification, subject to business approval, once you have been with the firm for at least 2 years
  • ACCA-X
  • Actuarial qualifications
  • Technical Certification Pathway designed to provide a base understanding of some of the key concepts, methodologies and frameworks used on our engagements and to provide a professional certification in a technology and/or methodology aligned to your career progression

BrightStart Apprenticeships

  • Level 7 Accounting/Taxation Professional Apprenticeship
    • Contains the ACA-CTA qualification (known as the Joint Programme)
    • Duration is circa 40 months
  • Level 4 Professional Tax Technician Apprenticeship
    • Contains the ATT qualification and (subject to business approval) potential progression onto CTA
    • Duration is circa 18 months
  • Level 3 Payroll Apprenticeships
    • Contains CIPP qualification
    • Duration is circa 15 months

Graduate Programme

  • Level 7 Accounting/Taxation Professional Apprenticeship
    • Contains the ACA-CTA qualification (known as the Joint Programme)
    • Duration is circa 40 months
  • Level 4 Professional Tax Technician Apprenticeship
